Screw Tip Set
Screw Tip set (assembly) consists of screw tip, check ring (non-return valve) and washer.
Utilizing the most advanced technology in both design and manufacturing process, we manufacture wide range of different types screw tips to meet the needs of today’s injection molders.

Screw tip with spin lock design
The screw tip is one of the key components in the molding process. The ever-widening range of both materials and processes faced by injection molders, along with the need for increased quality and productivity, makes screw tip function even more of a critical concern.
The screw rotation moves and melts material that must then flow through the screw tip building up forward pressure that forces the screw back. The accumulated plastic in front of the valve is then injected into the mold, keeping material from escaping back onto the screw, which is the function of the screw tip or non-return valve.
Poor screw tip function results in inconsistencies and inefficiency in the molding process. There are many design and process considerations for proper screw tip function that should be considered.
Screw tip with bimetallic alloy (tungsten carbide)
Ningbo Jinyi’s carbide spin-lock screw tip is manufactured with an ultra high abrasion resistant 88% Tungsten Carbide inlay on the check ring outer diameter providing extended service life.
Designed with generous flow volumes, direct, and highly polished flow paths. This valve provides very little pressure drop, providing fast screw recovery rates, it’s easy and fast purging for material and color changes.
Ningbo Jinyi’s C-770 Spin-Lock design leaves very little dead space forward of the feed screw for maximum displacement of the polymer. This design has excellent shut-off characteristics as well.
Screw tip with tool steel material
All three components of the P-700 screw tip are manufactured from H-13 tool steel that is heattreated to the maximum safe Rockwell hardness, based on the valve geometry that will range from 52 to 59. The components are ion nitride surface hardened for added wear protection. Nitriding provides a case hardness of up to 70 Rockwell with a case depth up to .015” per side.
Recommended for use on shear or compression sensitive materials, general purpose materials and “limited run time” filled materials. Use on highly fiber filled materials will maintain fiber integrity and result in higher tensile strengths in the molded part; however, faster wear of the valve may
be experienced.

Development History
1993 The company "Lichao" was established with the rise of screw industry in China.
1995 Took the lead in introducing CNC machining in the industry.
1997 We firstly started to manufacture alloy bushing barrel, which greatly improved the service life of barrel.
2000 The annual output exceeded RMB 50 million yuan for the first time.
2002 In order to better serve customers, the main plant was relocated to Ningbo.
2003 Jinyi recruited technical talents from Taiwan Province to guide and study alloy casting process.
2005 The centrifugal casting equipment was introduced from Taiwan and put into use.
2007 PTA plasma automatic bimetallic alloy spraying equipment was installed and put into use.
2010 Zhoushan new plant was built.
2011 A new electroplating plant was built in Zhenhai Chemical Industrial Park. So far, all the production processes of Jinyi can be under internal control.
2012 The second factory in Ningbo was built.
2016 The third factory in Ningbo was built, forming a pattern of 2 bases and 5 factory areas in Ningbo and Zhoushan.
2017 "Ningbo Lichao Tie Bar Precision Machinery Co., Ltd." was established, mainly engaged in tiebars manufacturing.
